The Ascom d81 is the top of the line handset in the Ascom DECT portfolio  It is an extremely robust handset for demanding environments intended for professional users.

Besides excellent telephony, its advanced messaging capabilities make it ideal for interacting with colleagues and even automated equipment. The Ascom d81 is available in a number of license dependent models – from a robust telephone with professional messaging (Messenger) to an advanced model with personal alarm capabilities (Protector)

Both Ascom d81 Messenger and Protector are also available in “intrinsically safe” models, for use in potentially explosive environments. Ascom follows the ATEX directive for Europe, CSA certification for North America and the IECEx scheme for rest of the world.
